Stretching

Active Isolated Stretching (A.I.S.) is a technique that isolates muscles that are to be stretched by contacting the opposing muscles. Each stretch is help no longer than 2 seconds which allows the target muscle to optimally lengthen without triggering the protective stretch reflex.

A.I.S. is performed in a gentle, yet specific, soft tissue approach effective to:
  • Re-align
  • Relieve pain
  • Lengthen and strengthen both the muscles and fascia throughout the body
  • Increase oxygen and blood flow, helping the body heal itself faster
  • Reduces the risk of muscle strain and tear
  • Releases and breaks down adhesions that occured from previous trauma or inflammation
  • Increase in performance, speed, and agility
  • Improve flexibility and health of muscles, tendons and ligaments
  • Improve breathing and lung capacity
  • Stimulate the circulation and drainage of the lymphatic system helping to eliminate waste created by the body, improving overall wellness

Reflexology

Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are reflexes in the hands and feet which correspond to every organ, gland, and body part.

The goal is to encourage the release of blockages/congestion in and around the 7,200 nerve endings in the feet while stimulating circulation and improving nerve and blood supply throughout the entire energy system. Reflexology works by applying specific pressure to the reflexes breaking up any congestion (uric acid, scar tissue and lactic acid) found.

The benefits of Reflexology:
  • Increases circulation
  • Improves nerve and blood supply
  • Helps to normalize and balance body function
Reflexology can help individuals with:
  • Asthma
  • Vertigo
  • Allergies
  • Adrenal fatigue
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Constipation
  • Neuropathy
  • Neck pain
  • Back pain
  • Shoulder pain
